Contracts and Payments
Corporate/Business/Non-Profit Events
Corporations,
businesses and non-profits will usually be issued a contract within 24
business hours via fax and may use either a corporate check or money
order for deposits. These must be signed and faxed back to us within 48
hours. A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, to hold the
reservation, is due within one week of contract issue, unless stated
differently on the contract issued by AK Tent Rental. When reservations
are contracted a short time before the event date, deposits will be due
via overnight delivery.
The balance
indicated on contracts is due upon arrival unless AK Tent Rental has
stated otherwise on your contract when issued.
Family Parties
For family
parties, we will take a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit at the time your reservation is made. Your contract confirmation will be mailed or faxed to you within 48
business hours. Each paper should be signed and returned to us by fax or
mail, as received, within 24 business hours. No reservation will be
honored without a signed contract in our files before the event date. Therefore, when making
reservations a very short time before your party, it may be necessary
for you to send these forms to us via overnight delivery or drop them
off at our offices.
Please note that
we can also take orders by mail with a deposit in the format of a
cashier's check or money order. Call us for more information regarding
mail orders. The balance indicated on contracts is due upon arrival
unless AK Tent Rental has stated otherwise on your contract when issued.
We do not accept personal checks.
Safety and Insurance
We are pleased to say
our attractions have been safety inspected and approved for use by the
State of Pennsylvania. AK Tent Rental is fully insured and also offers
clients the opportunity, for a nominal charge, to be added to the policy
as an "additional insured."
Picnic Permits
Clients must secure
their own picnic permits/site use permits and bring them to the event
site.
Cleaning Rental Equipment
Clients are responsible
for returning any rental equipment in a clean condition unless they have
hired one of our attendants for the operation of that rental item during
their event. This includes food machines as well as any other equipment.
Special Requests
If you are looking for
anything and don't see it listed, please call. We are constantly getting
more equipment that have not been placed on our lists yet.
